This is how I sell my commissions . I build cars of the type the market wants , then take all kinds of shots like that . When folks realize they are looking at a model it's practically a done deal .
Many years ago I did Monogram's 69 Malibu . I built it to reflect the real one sitting in the driveway . Even to the carpet scuffs . I called her Mali-Blu She is now sold to a new owner and he says she still can outrun most of his neighbors cars .
Not bad for Second engine , Tranny and 12 bolt rear . Real mileage 349,909 . Lotsa wear and tear but it can be reflected in a model . You are gonna be one that does this too . Great ! T.B.

Ok, I've been playing around with the settings on my camera and I made some changes in my paintbooth so it would reflect more light into the booth for photography. I think I'll have to play around with the settings some more. Please let me know your thoughts on the new pictures.
That's a great looking job on your model. My 1st car growing up was a 65 Belvedere (though a four door). As such, I've been kind of tempted to try bulding that model myelf.

mustang1989, I usually take my pictures outside on the back of my truck bed cover in natural light since the flash washes everything out, the lights in my paint booth plays tricks on the camera settings, and I can't afford a photo booth. I am trying the best that I can with what I have.
Fantastic work Mike! I like that little decal you put on the shifter. Your picture angles look great but I think you may have to adjust your camera white balance setting to Incandescent in order to bring out the white background better. I did like watching this one come together here and abroad though.

Nice job Mike! Couldn't help but notice that you put the emergency brake pedal in. Most put in the gas, brake and clutch but leave out the emer. brake pedal. It's the small details that count. Nice.

Sweet ride. I spent some of my youth riding in one (four door however). And custom plates!
This is my '65 Belvedere I painted with Tamiya TS-18 Metallic Red with a Model Master Insignia Red interior. Wheels and tires are from the kit and the 426 Max Wedge is wired.
