Another project that my son and I did together, though I'll admit to doing the majority of this build as it was a bit difficult and intricate for him he realized. I used to do a lot of models when I was growing up, however, I abandoned them when I got older and now I maybe do one project a year (over a 3-4 week timeframe) I now enjoy teaching and working alongside my oldest son! (He enjoys about that much "project time" without losing interest, though admittedly he enjoys his sport activites more!ha)
Thank you. It's been a while since I built this, but I do remember contemplating the best way to paint (yellow on top and black underside on rear aero area) glue and assemble it. Bunch of small fiddly bits and pieces on the model overall.
Hi,
That looks great. How old is your son?
Pat
My oldest son is 11, would have been 10 when we did this together. Though, like I mentioned this was a little too involved for him. However, he was good for gathering up the misc. parts and pieces, cutting them from the sprues as well as painting components in their "solid" colors. I would later come back and show him how to do the intricate detail painting, etc.
Cool. I like the Farrari build that you posted about, too.
PFJN Hi, Cool. I like the Farrari build that you posted about, too. Pat
Well done guys, that look stunning.
That looks great, I have one on the shelf but in black. We used to see DTM here in the UK, but Motorsport TV doesn't run it now because it's gone to an extra pay per view channel!
Remember , common sense is not common.
Very nice detailing, paint and decaling!! One cool ride.............
