AMT Interstate Batteries Lumina (NASCAR)

Here is another build I did about 3-4 years ago.  Back when I was younger I must have built about 6-8 different nascar kits.  I had this old unbuilt kit sitting around and my son had no interest in doing it, but asked if I"d just build it so he could display it with the rest of his cars (mix of diecast and plastic kits)

I took my artistic freedom and painted the chassis / cage red to be a bit more visually interesting. (assume it would have been gray normally?)

Hi,

That looks great. The red does really help make stuff stick out better.

(PS. I've had my eye on a Citreon DS3 Rally Car model that I've been wanting to build for awhile, but money and too many other projects going on right now have put that on the back burner for awhile).

Sweet! Dale's car is a hard scheme to pull off. I'm assuming that you used the kit decals?

Dude that's a good lookin' build! I've built some of the old Revell kits with those two piece tires and man do they take alot of work to look right.
