Ask me about Speedway Decals
that should be interesting .
Nick.
Thanks.
Engine assembled. Air cleaner will be added in final assembly.
Nice looking engine, but the distributor cap is molded wrong as it is too tall like a GM HEI distributor. And the fuel pump didn't have a canister like that. My brother had a 72 Bronco, and I had a 72 F-100 with a 302 so I know the details of these. Luckily it does have the Ford 3.03 three speed correct. I have one in the stash so when I finally break it open, I will make those changes.
WIP: Monogram 1/72 B-26 (Snaptite) as 73rd BS B-26, 40-1408, torpedo bomber attempt on Ryujo
Monogram 1/72 B-26 (Snaptite) as 22nd BG B-26, 7-Mile Drome, New Guinea
Minicraft 1/72 B-24D as LB-30, AL-613, "Tough Boy", 28th Composite Group
Well it's better than no pump at all the way Revell did it. I used what I had that looked even remotely like the pic I have on hand. My scratchbuilding skills aren't the best.
That engine looks awesome and I like the plumbing.
Progress. Rolling chassis.
Very impressive so far Lee! Love the usage of stock hubcaps.

Thanks Joe. It's not far from stock.
midnightprowler Thanks Joe. It's not far from stock.
Well my idea was to make it like someone got it home and just wanted suspension upgrades. In fact I changed the kit dual exhaust to a single like the real one had. The suspension is too modified for that approach.
Looking really good!!
I've been eyeing this kit on upscaleshobbies. Looks like a nice kit. Yours is looking really good.
Thanks,
John
Thanks. It's a great kit, just can't be built factory stock.
I just ordered this kit last night from upscale hobbies. Picked up a 70 chevelle ss while I was at it. I'll use this thread as a reference.
Progress. First time I've touched a model since breaking my hand.
i hope your hand gets better soon. I like that interior ! I always liked white interiors
Progress.
Great job!

On the Bench: Artesania Latina (aka) Artists in the Latrine 1/75 Bluenose II
I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Beautiful job...and brings back memories.
Looks a dead ringer for the 'estate wagon' that shuttled us to the airport in a 1974 visit to the Bahamas.

Good paint and detailing throughout Lee. You gonna go for the Baja Bronco kit as well?
