Cheers Tanker-Builder. Yes as pensioners we have to make do and mend! A very old British phrase.

Thanks guys.

little timmy thanks for your comments, the surfboards are made from thick plasticard and from other kits and some of the decals are home printed, some again from other kits.

The kit decals were old and the backing went soggy when dipped in warm water so I had to get between the paper and the decals and lift them off using a sharp craft blade

Greg, as a pensioner I perhaps can't at times afford to pay out £35 for a new kit, so look on ebay and a couple of other sites here that sell pre-owned or started kits, but you have to take the rough with the smooth. Some kits are short of a few bits whereas a racing McLaren sportscar kit I bought last year just had the decals missing but had extra parts!

Remember , common sense is not common.

Under normal circumstance's, I would say the rim's are .... ( best left un-said )

However, on this truck , they work ! I'm gonna hafta member that.

BTW: where did you get the surfboard's from ? Nice graphic's on them .

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Having never rescued a kit before, I thinking it must feel pretty good when finished.

It looks real good, Pat. Nice work.

Bought about ten years ago as an 'already started' from ebay. Not much in the way of a chassis (broken) Tubbed it painted it and put it back in the box. Fished it out last week added a lowered plasticard chassis, rear axle, added an engine, and various other things, including wheels/tyres from a Tamiya Ford Capri DTM.......
