Doing this for a YouTube Muscular Dystrophy Awareness GB. AMT's plastic color choice makes me want to smash things.

Hi,

Your images don't show up for me in your post,  but if I click the links it does take me to them.

Pat

PS. I see what you mean about the color of the plastic

AMT's plastic color choice makes me want to smash things.

That color is just "Gawd Awful" !

I have built many of AMT's Mustang's over the last 45 years, and I have never seen one moulded in that color plastic.

You may want to cover it with a flat Black primer first.

( If I were to paint it, I would start with a Gold color first, then deep metallic Green.... but only if you want it Green. )

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

PFJN - I did finally remember what I was doing wrong! LOL

littletimmy - I have Vallejo's gray primer that I WAS going to shoot it with today but didn't get around to it. Thanks for the tip about the metallic green, though! I do intend on painting it a deep 'forest green' or something close to an actual factory color.

Man that is wild color of green for the molded color. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this Calvin.

Airbrush nozzle kept want to clog up. Finally got it primered and put into a container to cure. Going to have to fix a few spots in the primer and take care of a good-sized sink mark but glad to make progress.

I wish someone would make a 1/24/25 68 Mustang!

Yes, I know about the Fastback version.

I'm surprised the only convertible kit was made by Palmer!Confused  Not a lot of choices in '68 Stangs unless you want a Shelby or Mach 1.
