I remember building that Waaaayyyy back in the day.( the engine got re-used in several different build's of mine.)

I never did get use to those "Steam roller" rear tire's

Thank's for taking me down "memory lane", Your build look's Great !

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Thats pretty wild!  I really like the inclusion of the little model box card stock.  My AMT plymouth duster came with one.  Really fun.

Thanks,

John

I don't remember that kit, and perhaps I shouldn't admit that the little box really threw me off until John commented on what it is. Stick out tongue

It just looks like fun. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys I love weird and cranky stuff! It also helped that Right on Replicas have a build on YouTube as the instructions are so basic and having the engine 'open' to view I had to wire it and on the video it showed the spark plug firing order!

I've never seen this on either.

They sure made some wildly imaginative model vehicles in the 60's and 70's.

Thanks kensar. Yes it's a shame that they don't make all of the 'Show Rods' that they did in the '60's and '70's!

Nice build Pat. I've never seen that one either. Hope that they bring some of them back. They were a lot of fun to build.

Thanks fox, yes I always hope that the new owners/manufacturers of AMT and other companies would look back and see what moulds they have and resurect some or most of the old kits like this!

Guess I was a big Tom Daniel fan too, but I didn't know it 'til just now. Many of the oddball kits I built were his, and I only realised it from visiting his site you linked to, John.

I'm browsing through the list of his kits/designs and having a flood of memories.

Thanks for the link, John, and thanks again for the thread, Pat. It's a fun one.
