Many thanks for your comments .in the 60’s my friends built those monster kits the glow in the dark ones and my dad said they would give me nightmares so after 50 years I made two of them the forgotten prisoner and the creature of the black lagoon but they are in the shop lol !!!

Any plans for a base or stand of some sort?

Man, that is too cool! As a small kid I was scared of skeletons but I always wanted to build this kit. Excellent job!

The Baron. thank you for some reason the chrome was harder to remove on this kit,but it was has fun as I remembered it.

Thanks Brad I did add a drop of future to the generals goggels and the driver and general are in place with some small stuff.

Great job so far!  It's a good kit, deserving of the attention you're giving it.

I removed the chrome from the Red Baron hot rod, too.  I wanted to be able to clean up the seams and sprue gates, and it was just easier to do it that way.

If I could offer a suggestion, I would add a drop of clear gloss on Rommel's goggles-Future, for example, or your clear gloss of choice.

removed the chrome from hood ornament' but its still in brake fluid need to clean up .

Have been seeing this kit for years never seen one built wasn't sure what it would look like, but you have done a lovely job on it to show that it will turn into an eyecatcher on any shelf.

I built this kit around 45 years ago, when I was a kid. I liked it then and I love what your doing to it now. Classic model, and you have pulled off a GREAT BUILD.

Thank you Keavdog started on figures last night gave base coat to heads and body waiting for clear coat and oil washes, the drivers eye socket needs some ivory  if not may be too dark.

Thats turning out really nice!  Can't wait to see Rommels and drivers skeleteons in there.

I sprayed Tamiya gloss clear and gave a oil wash of bernt umber and black applied decals and sprayed with tamiya clear flat. Test fit the major parts and some other stuff

Thank you Chad so far so good . started weathering the wheels and tracks and the body is ready for gloss clear.

Started the weathering on the diesel sprayed Tamiya gloss clear gave an oil wash of raw umber then a light dusting of SnJ powder

Thank you Fox and Stik . I’m going to remove the chrome from this kit. Almost done with base coat need to match the grill to the hood .

Looking real good!
