I see lots of primer in your future!

yeah.it probably doesn't matter since he's painting it red (i presume). I'd even use red primer.

since red plastic has a habit of leaching into the primer/paint, i now try bleaching the plastic with brake fluid or oven cleaner before primer to reduce the amount of bleed.

Definitely, plus the red parts look kinda “toy like”, wish amt wouldn’t cut corners to save on paint process but I’ll do my best. I’ll have to watch the movie to get me super motivated to build it as cars I don’t particularly care for. Plus I have to sand off the belvedere logo on rear just below both fins.
