That looks sweet. Looks like you did a great job. Yes

Aoshima is news to me. Thanks for your feedback on the kit, this looks like fun. Glad you enjoyed your first model back in a while, and thanks for sharing.

Looks good. Might I suggest taking pics of the model on some white posterboard? We would be able to see things far better.

DeLorean Time Machine 1/24 (Completed)

Here is my first complete kit build in a number of years and I'm happy it was the DeLorean Time Machine from the first Back to the Future movie.

I've been looking into building a detailed model of the DeLorean Time Machine to display for sometime and after seeing the 1/24 scale kit by Aoshima on offer, it was a great time to start and the best starting point.

The kit itself was fantastic, detailed, very little prep work was needed and fitted together very well, but I really wanted the finished model to pop! so I went about adding even more detail to the kit with extra wires and other small details.

The kit also let you choose between 2 versions of the car, how it looks at start of the movie or how it looked at the end, you also get a Mr. Fusion so you could make the flying version of it too.

I went with how you see the car for the first time. After adding a lot of the extra details, I must say I was very happy with this first build and looking forward to trying Aoshima's other kits.

Enjoy!
