Thanks Greg. I cheat with the lowering, just cut away various parts of the chassis and axles, although in reality lowering one is easy, by twisting the spring splines in the front axle and lowering the back by moving the spring plate attachments! We did that with one of our sons custom Beetles.
This looks like our sea blue Beetle when our sone were small, we used roof racks to carrying everything on holidays. That's until we had an argument with a concrete overhang in a multi-storey carpark and knocked the rack off! The next year we had a trailer!
