Looks like you got the better of it! I understood that there was an upwards "kink" in the front fender that some guys fixed by cutting a slot in the wheel openings in order to get the nose down. Did you have that issue?

Thanks. Yes, the 428 fits but the 429 you have to modify the engine cage.

Nice.  Very cool!  Bummer about the kit though.  I'd like to build it but I avoid problem kits like the plague these days.

Yes, those Polar Lights kits were a challenge.  Were you able to get the engine inside?  On all I built the nice engines were all too big to fit!

One of the few times I venture out of stock or street rod/machine. Polar Light's kit and this thing was a PITA.
