Just looked up the BMW 1 series based on your comment, Bill. Didn't know that either. Guess I don't know much about BMW's.
My wife had one until last year. It was fun to drive and went through oil which I found odd for a not-that-old luxury/sports car.
That turned out great. I did a mini kit, fujimi I think. They are so fun. I'd like to do a 1:1 track version someday
