After going through the late 1970s into the mid 1980s with gutless wonder 4 bangers the Viper was the cause for hope that real cars would make a comeback. I enjoyed my Shelby Dodge Charger and the GLH but it aint the same as the performance of the likes of the VIPER. Great choice and a great job. That blue and white paint job would have been my choice. IIRC the Viper held the record for 0 to 100 to 0 time. Again, that is a sweet build.

Thank you!

Oh!

I wish I did. That was over over forty years ago. I believe the Van in question is part of a Landfill now!

Thank you TB!  Any chance you've got any pictures of that van? I'd really like to see that!

See Now!

You almost had me set off my ticker trainer! That engine and dash are beyond beautiful. More like Supercalifragilisticexpalidocious ! ! ! Would you please loan it to me for our next show. I promise, I will say it was built and painted by you, promise, promise.

You certainly did it proud. I got a finish like that years ago on a Van I was building. Couldn't find My base paint, so I used Natural Pearl Nail Polish as my base and Candy Lime Green as my topcoat. It came out gorgeous!

Man, you really made that look easy, and good. Super work. Now, go find another car and built it too.

Howdy friends.  Calling this one done. It was a fun project for my first car model.  There sure is a lot more involved with building cars than I first thought. I probably won't be venturing back into these waters anytime soon but I'm glad I have a sweet car to put on the shelf!

Awesome.  How did you paint the “VIPER” and logo on the engine?

Those we're actually decals!

Fantastic paint job. Bet that it will look out of this world when photo taken out in the sunlight (if it ever comes back). Great engine too. This looks to be one for the record if it keeps on going this great. Toast

Looking great. Awesome job on that serpentine belt! Is that white lettering a decal in the kit?

Thank you Lee!  It's a small decal.
