My first attempt at spraying Future. The decals are massive and old; one cracked.
It's my second body shell; I scrapped the first one. Mine is not nearly as good as another posted here. I do like the seatbelts - from Tamiy - vinyl and photoetch. I ground off the molded in seatbelts.
Whoa! That is really sharp looking. Very nice build. Well done.

Sharp-looking indeed. Well put.
I have a weakness for these old Tamiya Formula kits, you certainly did it justice.
And you apparently figured out how to airbrush Future to a nice finish, you da man.
Ooohhhh nice! Love it, nice job
Thanks,
John
Very nice!

Awesome! I’m getting ready to build their Ferrari F189 and will use detail up belts. I really miss not being able to watch Grand Prix racing.

These belts are 1/20 Tamiya. Vinyl belts with PE hardware. PE was attached to adhesive sheet, so no cleanup was needed. I ground off the existing molded in belts.
That looks great. May I ask, since it's molded in red, will you paint it or maybe just clearcoat the red plastic? I've sort of fallen in love the the F1 cars and might build that one or the P34 six wheeler.
Thanks for the comment.
Dave
Paint for sure. I’ll use Tamiya TS8 Italian red. I posted on here not long ago about older F1 cars being a bit more beautiful than the modern ones. The Tyrell 6 wheeler was definitely thinking outside the box. I picked the 89 Ferrari because it’s an easy paint scheme. As a new modeler I’m not sure I’m ready for very involved paint themes.
Shuuuweeeeet!!!!
