Welcome to all SAM members.

I have been building whatever strikes my fancy since 1946 (6 years old). Have about 40 or 50 cars still in the stash with all the rest. Looking forward to seeing your work.

I too lost my SA (just about got to the end of my prescription-sigh) But have been popin' in and out on FSM forum for a long time. So, for you that have not frequented this group of dedicated, high minded, moral, forth right bunch of modelers, they are here. So are the rest of us. We all welcome you.
Your input and skills will be well received and you may even learn the mysteries of weathering and pre-shading--GASP

Mr Mike

Thank you for the welcome, BrandonK!  I have never expected the turn of events, but they did happen.  I will try to be patient with the powers that be and what they will do for the future of automotive modelers.  I still don't like my favorite model magazine going away, but these are things that I can't control.

like Mr Mike, me too i am sad to see my favorite magazine go away. Thank you for the welcome

I know this site is not what you guys are used to, or that it even is what you want. But it is what we have. And with your help and input we can make this Auto section into much more than it currently is. Let's take those lemons and put them to good use.

Again..WELCOME!!

BK

Amen, BK!  Yes

Yep, welcome, and let's see those builds!

Thanks for the nice welcome! I joined SA in 2004, so it seemed a bit strange to see it fold. I have nearly every issue of the mag from the mid-nineties 'til the end. Almost like losing a good friend. I'll hang out mostly in the car section here, but I always enjoy checking out the great military builds, too.

Building models since 1963.
