Awesome paint job
Nick.
Building models since 1963.
Taking up space on the bench: '53 Ford Pace Car, '58 Impala, '63 Boss Nova, '67 FOOSE Dodge, '67 Puma GT, '72 Dodge Van, '73 Mustang, Dodge V-100
That looks so cool!
Great thinking out of the box on the paint. Kind of along the lines of lace painting on 1:1's.
Nicely done.
Smartly done and I really like the results.

keavdog Really sharp! I'd like to see how that paint job is done.

After priming with Duplicolor, I sprayed on the White Lightning:
I then stretched the onion sack over it, and secured it under the bottom:
Then, I shot the gold over the onion sack, and peeled it off to find this result:
Two or three clear coats, and some polish got it to where it is now.
Thanks,
John
BrandonK I think this is the first Myers Manx that I've seen in kit form. Very nice work and excellent paint. BK

I built this one a little while back:
Front suspension gave a bit of a struggle, but I got it stuck on there! LOL
Great-grandson (3 years old) says it look like a turtle. I used an onion sack for the paint scheme.
I may try another one, but not really soon!
Thanks for checking it out!
