My borther drove one of these in highschool. God that car was ugly. This one looks very nice and a far cry from nearly all I've ever seen. Well done, it looks really good.

Oh!
The crown you mean? Yeah, they never did correct that. On the real car it was flatter and closer to the roof!

After running the wheels and suspension off a real one, Years ago, that looks great. Now where are the keys, Please?? Very nice color shoice too!
That turned out great.
Thank's. Nice little kit.
That looks so sweet! Love the color and that you blacked out the bumpers. I have this kit in my stash and just might have to bring this model out. TJS

Finished up my 60 Ranchero this moring. Wheels & tires are from the AMT 61 Impala SS kit. Engine was wired and two 4's added. All trim is bmf.
I was able to get some flat white primer on a couple bodies today as the weather wasn't to bad. Both the 60 Ranchero and the 56 Ford pickup with get a pearl gloss clear. All trim with be a Matt black.
It is a great model. Making a lot of mods to mine.
Any progress on this one Bob?

I think thats a great model. My wife collects coka cola stuff and I am going to get that model along with a few others to try to keep her happy.
Hahahahahahahahaha. That was a good one Greg. Thanks! I needed that.

George Lewis:
I picked up this 60 Ranchero AMT kit at Wally World back before Thanksgiving when they had there model display out in the isle. I decided I really didn't like the stock wheels so I'm using the tires and wheels out of a 61 Chevy Impala SS. There was a funny looking roof rail at the rear I shaved off since I didn't care for it. I mixed up some Testors gloss white & green enamel to make a light mint color which I'll shoot throw my airbrush when I get a good warm day. Still not 100% on the color.
