Yes I found parking space for it..

The LEGO Ducati is behind it and looks quite small!

Cheers Gamera. A super build over 3 hours per day for 5 days. The other drawback is finding a 10" by 12" space in the display cabinet!

Thanks Bakster, all the right people ride scooters!

A few more bits done today.. Today I've done everything to finish the Vespa 125 build. Fold up luggage rack, spare wheel cover, brake lever below it, front wheel suspension, kick start lever, helmet and helmet with goggles.

And the finished product..

My uncle had a Vespa. When he was not looking his son would steal it, and my uncle would drive it to work some 40 miles on the freeway. My Dad would say, he is gonna kill himself taking that on the freeway.

He survived but how many accidents did he cause. That I will never know.

That is my memory of the Vespa.

Fun project.

Well it's been an interesting build, but it's not quite finished. First picture is the engine and the second is very close to the finish, with side panels, steering, stand and headlight fitted.

A few blocks just need a squeeze up.

Second day. The first photo shows the rear light and number plate, the second shows the front and rear seats. As a 16-17 year old I had a Lambretta 125, a lot of my 'MOD' mates had Vespa's as well.
