I give up! Cant figure out how to post pictures.
Hi Mike,
When inserting an image from Flickr, click on the Share arrow. That will bring up a dialog box with a number of tabs along the top. Click the BBCode tab (should be the last one in the current Flickr configuration). You'll get a lot of link crud. I copy and paste it into a blank Word file so I can look at it.
What you want is the info in the second line, specifically what is between img and /img. In this example: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51916537205_71ecaccae6.jpg
Copy that link, click the little photo image with the mountains and the sun in the ribbon at the top of the text box you type in on the Forum. A dialog box will appear. Paste the link into Source and click OK. You should get something like this:You can control the size of the image either by selecting an image size from the dialog box on Flickr or modifying the size in the dialog box on the Forum before you click OK.
Hope this helps.

As I recall, you could also just click on your photo...hit 'copy link location'...then just paste that into your forum post using the image icon, as Tim described above.

Hello!
It would sure be a pity to give up on such a nice truck!
Granted, posting them is a bit of a pain... You know where...
But it's a beauty! I have one of the doble drives in my stash and I want to build it with Italeris air ride some day, and I WISH it turned out this nice when it's finished some sunny day!
Have a nice day
Paweł
All comments and critique welcomed. Thanks for your honest opinions!

Very, very nice!
Thanks,
John
A beauty indeed and it would have been a shame to miss seeing it.
Thanks Pawel for re-posting.
And to the OP, posting pics is a bit cumbersome, but not after you get used to it. I do hope you don't give up. I like seeing these big rigs built up by you guys who know how to do it.
I agree, work this great needs to be seen and enjoyed by the members of this forum. You hear a lot of complaining about these old AMT truck kits on the modeling sites but kudos to the guys who can turn them into a gem like this rig. The color scheme and weathering sure bring back a lot of memories for me. Excellent build! Please post more of your big rig builds.

Yeah, well, Greg, here's the thing ... you're right. "Copy Image Address" (for Chrome) will work just as well. But why do a single step when 8 will get you to the same place?
Great truck. You did a great job.
Well done.
Very Nice!
We don't see Consolidated Freight trucks down here in my part of Texas very often. Excellent job on a "Day"tripper!
Had a real one just like it. Lovely model.
We all need to build more trucks!

raisin27 Great looking model. Youre "weathering" is spot on.
just cant figure out how you got it to fit in the back yard, though

Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
This is some real skill here. Very impressed with the chrome gas tank straps. I have the Italeri Actros giga space on hold because I can't get them right.
There is almost no room for error on a car or truck model.
Some of the AMT kits can be wrestled into a nice build.
Those straps are a lot easier to do when you use a trick: If you can find chrome foil - that could be metal like BMF or plastic self-adhesive foil. In a pinch you could take a bag of chips, many of them are very nice chrome silver on the inside. Then just cut neat strips out of that material and apply to appropriate places on the tanks. If you want to get funky you could even loop them on the ends and make t-shaped wires to represent the tightening screws.
Hope this helps - good luck with your tanks and have a nice day
Tanker-BuilderWe don't see Consolidated Freight trucks down here in my part of Texas very often.
That's because CF broke up in 1996.
They became CNF, which later became Con-Way Industries in 2001. Plenty of Con-Way trucks motoroing down I-35. At least until 2015, when they became XPO Logistics, whic his not seen so much on the tractors as the logo on Containers and some box trailers.
They will probably not have any single-drill Freightliner tractors, though. If the tractor is a Freightliner, that would be an irony, as CF actually created the Freigtliner Truck Division (now onwed by Daimlier-Benz).
Thank you everyone. While this kit is an old tool kit thats been reissued many times and did require some TLC to build it was nowhere near the nightmare I was led to believe it would be.
WOW!!! That is indeed a thing of beauty!! Great work on this kit and am glad you've got the whole photo posting thing figured out.
Glad to have you aboard btw.
