Yesterday at the RPM party I managed to wrangle a Tamiya F50 Ferrari!

Ford GT is an all-time favorite of mine. I'll bet that Tamiya kit is going to be great!

On a side note, just the other day I stumbled across and article somewhere about an alleged street-legal one that was reported to have reached some insane speed. Just over 300 mph, I think.

 

This is my third year in the club and the quality of the kits have been great every year.  By tradition, one kit is always a clunker.  Last year it was a rickshaw kit and some poor slob got stuck with a hotdog cart model this year.  I remember several 1/32 kits this year  a F16, ME262, a spit, and a Phantom.  We have the party at a game store that has a bistro.  The food is terrific and they have a bar.  The Christmas party is always fun but when you add craft beer it's just a little better.  
BTW, our club is hosting our first show Oct 2023.  Paxcon is Hollywood, Md. If your in the area come check us out.

Going to one in a few hours.  We used to get a mix of junk and good new stuff.  The three clubs I am in have come to an agreement- only bring gifts you would like to build yourself.
