Well I guess carpets would look kind of strange in the "office" of a F-14 Smile [:)]

This flocking stuff looks great, but I've never seen it in my hobbyshop. Where can I find it ???

What I do and has been very good is to use dull coat in a spray can, put a light to medium mist and sift it through a sifter or window screan, no shine at all.

The only way I have tried it Mark is with the flat paint useing a color a bit darker than the flocking to give it a bit of shadowing effect , it wirked pretty good after I figured it out.

I brush paint a flat color close to the color of the flocking and apply while the paint is still wet working in small areas.
When in doubt just build it. Mark http://www.ipmslivonia.org/ipms/

carperting flock question

ived used flocking before, but not with good results. my question is about applying it. i have heard of putting it directly on the paint after it is sprayed on, using clear parts glue, and using diluted white glue. which one of these works best. and what steps do i take after applying it to assure an even, realistic finish. thanks-mark.
