Ok, you guys knew it had to happen.
I sneaked a peak into the kit and here is what I saw.

The parts(33) are as follows:
4 resin parts for the body(upper/lower, tank and a sidecover)
2 clear vac-formed parts for the wind screens(will get a replacement set just in case)
6 clear parts for the headlights, tailights, etc.(might replace a few with AM parts)
3 rubber tires(2 small 1 large)
1 set of decals
17 white metal parts for rear spoiler, mirrors, handlebars, axles, connector rods, engine cover, disc brakes and 3 rims for the tires.

Instructions are typical for japanese resin kits(parts list, 4 assembly steps, 1 decal placing image.

Overall looks like it will be an impressive little model when it is finished. now it has to go back under the X-mas tree till next year when I officially can open the kit.

[edit]
Might pick up a 2nd copy of the kit when I am in japan later this week.Tongue [:P]

Yep, still looking for a kit of the Quasar Bike. Interesting concept as it is a covered bike and you semi-lie in it.

OTOH, might have to scratchbuild that based on photos I took of it.

My X-mas present has just been delivered by the Mail-man.
It is a 1/24 scale Resin kit of the "Krauser DomanI" made by Wave/Japan.
Won't open the box till next year though when I will be back from my travels, but I expect standard wave quality which usually is top-notch.

Krauser Domani

Produced for the Japanese and European market the Krauser Domani is a blend of bike & side car and 3-wheeler. The vehicle is an intregal construction and so whilst being powered by a BMW motorcycle engine and drivetrain has its own unique chassis, steering and suspension. The body is made from fibreglass.

Pics of the real thing can be seen here:

Here is another japanese site with some good images:

Wish it would be in 1/12 scale to suit my other bike models, but I guess she will sit next to the Yamaha T-Max on the shelf. Wink [;)]

BTW, wish I had the 1:1 sitting at home. Sad [:(]
