I just bought a vintage assembled1967 amt mustang fastback, w/ no box or instructions. This will be my 1st time refurbishing a model car. The paint is cracked and the engine appears not complete. Here are my questions.
1.I paid $30.00 for it. was that a good price?
2. Where can I obtain a photo of how this model car should look completed?
3. Where can I obtain the original instructions?
4. I want to strip the paint and airbrush it all over again, someone recommended soaking all the parts in castrol super clean, purple bottle, what do you think? It appears that the chrome was also painted on.
5. I also want to to add new axels and wheels since to ones on the car appear to be shot.
As you can tell I'm new to the hobby and want to do it right, so if you can help me out that would be great.
