Hey Eddie, I know exactly how you feel. I am building an AMT 1957 Corvette Gasseer that my mom's husband gave to me for christmas.......it is complete crap. I have been working on the chassis trying to straighten it out for a week. What the hell is up with the spots of plastic in odd places? It's like they didn't mold it right the first time, and tried it again a few more times......and the molds are so beat up. I glued on my front and rear pans on the body last night and went holy
!! The gaps are ridiculous. The pans don't even line up at all, at any point! And the emblems are all molded half-assed, so I sanded em off. I'm with you on giving up with this company.....as soon as I take care of this piece.....
BTW a quote from the kit instructions: "We take great pride in providing the FINEST model kits available, giving strong attention to detail and craftsmanship" LMFAO good one!!

when you go to the shopping page, it will do a search through around 15 different aftermarket companies. I found some PE kits for the Corvette I am doing now, and some resin stuff, so you shouldn't have any problem. Let me know if you find what you are lookin for!!! Good luck!!
