Tiger Scheme GTO

Thanks for the comments. I saw one of the "Scale Auto" magazines with a tiger striped GTO that really looked good; I don't know if it was a model of a real 1:1 or their idea. It had a huge blower sticking up out of the hood!

I did get my problem fixed. I'm glad I started to fix it right away, or it would've ended up in the parts box.

OUCH!!! There was a 66 or 67 (maybe both) that raced back then that did very well, and was painted in tiger stripes. I think Revell did a model of the Goat (GTOs were often referred to as goats) That 389CID with tri-power (3 2bbl carbs) was a screamer.

In the "Here's your sign" segment, I went to clearcoat it and another car body yesterday. The other car went on fine, but when you pick up the flat white instead of the gloss clear to overcoat it, you tend to loose some of the detail, sorry, ran out of smilies.
