And remember that less is more in glue. If you put too much liquid poly in before squeezing the bitz together, the spillage will do damage to the plastic, turning it into moosh. Whenever you pull the brush out of the bottle, run it across the rim a few times so that any excess flows back into the bottle instead of flooding the model.

Hey Steve, which Tamiya glue did you order ?  I ask because the of applying it is slightly different.
The one with the white cap, you apply to the pieces first and then put the pieces against eachother, the one with the green cap you hold the pieces against eachoter and than let a drop of the glue flow in the seam.

modelsforsale.com here in the UK have both types of Tamiya glues in 40ml. Select glues/paints in the left column then select manufacturer... Tamiya.........I have purchased quite a lot from them and can confirm that their service is excellent.

You might be able to order it directly from the Tamiya website? Have you checked there?

I usually use this one:

Humbrol glue also works very well:

None of them will harm plastic. They just melt a bit the join to make it stronger. Unless you soak plastic parts with this kind of cements you should not have any problems.

I've been looking for this stuff on websites for days with no luck, is this for sale in the UK. I've also been to afew model shops in my area with no luck.

Is there any Substitute for this with the same results? I've been told that some glues can harm your model so I don't want to get the wrong stuff.

Thanks

Steve
