Tamiya as we all know produce fantastically detailed and well made motorbike kits, but after building several, this thought struck me.
Why do they make a little protrusion on the fuel tank, which the breather hose attaches to, and then they dont provide any tubing for the hose. Strange, as they provide a load of tubing for plug leads, coil leads, etc. many of which arent even visible when the bike is assembled. One would imagine that the fuel breather hose, being on top of the tank would be more important to provide.
Even on the NSR500 kit, the protrusion is actually a seperate piece which you attach to the tank. Why make this and not supply the hose that attaches to it ?
I mean whos going to build a bike, and leave the tank as it is without a breather hose ???
OK rant over ;)
