                        One source that comes to mind is Detail Master. I used them for gauges and steering wheel for my '53 Chevy Street Rod in the 50's Group Build. I know there are a lot of others out there if you check around the forum.

                        Hey Chris,

                        In your case I would probably go with the Hot Magenta to match the flames.

                        Another option...
                        If you are going to have a lot of chrome and added detail (such as wiring) on the engine, you could even paint it flat or semi-gloss black.

                         It is typical of hot rodders to paint the engine block to match the exterior color. In a few occasion they are painted in a contrasting color, but usually only when the exterior color is a flat black or dark blue. A friend of mine has a '32 Ford Roadster in Lemon Yellow, with a Flathead V8 painted to match and it looks wicked!

                            Hi all.  I'm starting to build a '32 Ford and I let my wife pick the color for the body- Tamiya Pink with Hot Magenta flames.  My question is this: Does the engine need to be painted a certain color (i.e. Ford Engine Red) or can it be painted a color that doesn't clash with the pink so that I can leave the engine visible?  Thanks for the help.
