Some of these are offered but by off name brands or in a "street rod" variation.

29 Ford A pickup

34 ford Victoria

66 Chevy chevelle

67 Olds Cutlas

38 chevy coupe

I could go on and on! Hehehe Anyway thee are kits I'd like to find. By a "front line" maker in a from the factory build. Not a "rat rod" or a "3 in 1".

I didn't know Lindberg made the 67 Olds. Thanks for the info. Although I am now patiently awaiting Lindberg's 66 Chevelle. I'm just scared of Lindberg (for now) because I'v never built one of their kits and have heard mixed response as to the quality.

And the 3-1s do have factory as an option usually. I have (but yet to start) the Goodguy's series 3-1 29 Ford pickup. Just having gone thru the parts I felt more attention was givin to the "hot rod" versions.

Maybe I'm just to picky! Hahaha That and being a TreadHead my familiarity with the car models is limited.

EDIT: Sorry about the thread jacking! I wanna see what cars others are watching for!

There's no need to be scared of Lindberg's '66 Chevelle or their '67 Olds.  Both are beautiful kit.

This was built some years ago from an original issue kit.

The Olds was started ealier this year and hasn't quite been finished yet due to builder induced problems.  It's or they were caused by my shop foreman, Jackson. ;)

Oh my, the list would be quite long.  But for starters I'd like to find kits for the following body styles:

-'67-'72 & '73-'79 Ford F150

-'69 Fairlane/Torino hardtop (not fastback)

-'73/'74 Chevy Nova

-'84 Thunderbird

-'89 Mercury Cougar

-'79 Mercury Capri

I haven't seen kits for these, but I'd love to build them 'cause they're some of the vehicles I used to own.  I've found a few others and have 'em stashed for later, but I'd love to build replicas of as many of my old cars as I can.  Guess I'm just funny that way...lol

I'd love to find an Eagle Talon TSI Turbo AWD (early 90's body style).  Used to own a '91.  Also wouldn't mind seeing a 2007 Honda CRV (my current wheels).

The car kits I'd like to see released would be:

The new Mitsubishi Eclipse

Pontiac Solstace

Dodge Challenger Concept

2007 Ford Pickup

2007 Chevy Silverado

There are a bunch of older cars too, but I thought I'd change it up a bit.

I vote with the guys looking for models of cars they owned.  Maybe I've always bought weird cars, but I've never been able to find kits of most of my cars -

'71 Ford Pinto

'75 VW Rabbit (the exception - there's an AMT kit)

'81 Honda Civic DX

'85 Toyota Corolla GTS

'89 Honda Civic Si

'93 Mazda Protege LX

'98 Ford SVT Contour

'95 Miata (there's a right hand drive Eunos, but I never felt I was enough of a modeler to modify it to left hand)

'06 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon (just bought it today, my daughter hates it).

Although mainly not a car modeller, I sure would like to see all those 1/12 scale sport- and racing cars that Tamiya once had in their collection. Especially the (few) Formula 1 cars in that scale were very impressive and rich on detail.  Of course (and I know I'm only dreaming) new releases of the current day F1 cars at the same level of detail (the last ones that Tam produced in the late 90's were not even comparable with their earlier ones, being "easy to build").

On the bench : Revell's 1/125 RV Calypso

Pontiac 6000 STE, and hatchback(STOCK) versions of the Chevy Citation.  Preferably the X-11 option as well.  A more reasonable priced kit of the Fiat X/19 would be nice as well.  Actually I thought of a few more.  The old Flying Brick Caprice/Impala.  Preferably the Caprice version.  4 door please.  A new kit of the Dodge Monaco would also be welcome.  Or even a good rerelease of the old Monaco 4 door.  Mid 70's 4 door AMC Matador.  73 AMC Hornet X.  Chevy K5 Blazer, the body style that started in 1974.  Already have a GMC Pickup of that body style.  Better detailed version of the 1972 Chevy Pickup.  Rerelease of the 90's Chevy Pickup that was kitted as the 454ss, and Stepside trucks.  Rerelease of the boxbody S10, and do one as a Blazer as well.  both 4x4 and 2wd versions.  Instead of modling in emblems, offer GMC and Chevy grills and offer chevy and gmc badges on the decal sheet to give us a choice.  Goes for both pickup and suv.  The new Trailblazer, and avalanche.

Aside from the obvious copcars, I have some strange tastes.  You know, come to think about it, the CURRENT crown vic with the big grill would be great as well.  That way we don't have to rely on diecasts to build copcars anymore.  Diecasts don't look too great.

XA-XB or XC Falcon coupes, including the GT and John Goss Special options

Early 1970s LTD (4-door or 2-door for a great police car)

Ford Fusion (another police possibility!)

Ford Sierra XR4i

Modern Australian V8 Supercar competitors (Falcon, Holden Commodore, etc)

Daytona Prototype cars

FR500 Shelby racing car

LeMans/IMS/ALMS series cars

Cadillac DTSV race car

77 jeep cherokee chief (year doesn't really matter, they never changed a lot)

94 volkswagon corrado

jeep gladiator (year unkown)

I have never actually done a car model.  I have a 71 plymouth gtx on the woorkbench (dining room table), but it was a gift and I only opened it to give the airbrush a wirl (still need more practice).

Now that I think about it, I would like to see a lot of AMC cars like the AMC, pacer, and gremlin.  some of the worlds ugliest cars ever but deep down I want one.

I would have to say an '04-'06 Dodge SRT-4 and a Mazda 6 Sport Hatchback. I know somebody already said the wagon, they might as well make both since you want the wagon Cool [8D]
