Just finished this one Thursday. It was a pretty easy build except for the articulation. The kit is Revells CJ7. Scratch built the suspension, shocks roll cage and front winch. Let me know what you think.

It did work, really neat model! Great job of modifying it too, I'm impressed.

littlemoe, I used a piece of birch wood for the base then I added florist foam, its what they use to arracnge flowers. I then sealed it and airbrushed it.

what did you use for the shcks???? and the roll cage???? old sprue perhaps???

littlemoe, for the shocks used aluminum tubing and some small springs found at a hardware store. the roll cage was made from styrene tubing with wire inserted into the middle to help hold the shape.
