littlemoe, for the shocks used aluminum tubing and some small springs found at a hardware store. the roll cage was made from styrene tubing with wire inserted into the middle to help hold the shape.

littlemoe, I used a piece of birch wood for the base then I added florist foam, its what they use to arracnge flowers. I then sealed it and airbrushed it.

Just finished this one Thursday. It was a pretty easy build except for the articulation. The kit is Revells CJ7. Scratch built the suspension, shocks roll cage and front winch. Let me know what you think.
