1/1 scale
Posted by Bodge on Monday, March 24, 2008 6:02 PM

Hi to all before i dig out some car models to post i thought you might like to see my full scale motors, The custom 51 olds will shortly be back on the road after an underbonet fire,I started it up to move it back under cover and noticed smoke comming out of hood,i jumped out to lift hood ,left keys in ignition and couldnt open hood as i hadnt pulled latch and couldnt get back in car as door shut and there is no door handles (electric), by the time i got in the paint on the hood had bubbled and peeled and engine was well ablaze. 8 months later and 5700 pounds and shes neally done (minor wireing and coil and leads) . when i start her next i will have exstinguisher at the ready. The 59 Buick ellectra  i have fully restored after it had been sat in a breakers yard since 68, Full bare metal respray reupholstered the whole interior with a bit of help of a friend and i have changed almost all the running gear after numerious breakdowns, she feels a lot better now. cheers, Andy.

Gorgeous cars!Thumbs Up [tup]

Many years ago, when I was little, my father had a '58 Buick. Later, he had a '65 Buick Electra, a big blue one, for a long time.

Every now and again to this day, my mother and I will sit down and wax nostalgic about all the cars we had when my brother and I were kids.

Very nice.  Instead of posting my two rigs up here, I'll just tell everyone to check out cardomain.com same username I use here.  They aren't old stuff like that, I can't afford it.  I have my 4x4, and my little mileage car, that the wife ands kisd love, and the wife told me to go ahead and put money into it.  Cheap tp mod, and with the right mods will eat all kinds of cars alive.
