3 Tamiya 1:35 scale figures, assembled and hand painted. The diorama is scratch made. If you have any questions about this diorama, please ask me. Thanks

looks good, did you use steel wool in the burn barrel

was it a picture that you saw that gave you an idea or was this whole idea something you came up with in your head?

Amazing dio. Need to post this in the Diorama section, too... lots of folks over there who would be interested in staring at this work.

No steel wool in the burned barrels. They are made of paper and hand painted. 99% of my work comes from my brain. I don't like making what every other person makes. I'm not saying that their work is bad, I just like to think out side of the "box". Thanks for the compliment.

Wow! Amazing, thanks Steve. I try my best. I forgot a couple of things on this diorama but I'm going to leave it the way it is. I like the idea of sending it over to the Diorama section. I'll do that soon.

Amazing work !  Creating realistic fire/smoke has to be the last frontier for any modeller.  I would'nt even try.  I can see what you are trying to do, but IMHO its not possible to re-create.

WOW! That is some compliment. I didn't think that it was that good.
I think you would be able to make something like this in less than one million years.
Let's say, within a year or so with practice.

You can do it.

Thanks again.

I did have a question, How did you do the glass? I know it's kind of a stupid question but is there a certain technique you used to make it look shattered? Anyway, Great work! Very well done! Make a Toast [#toast]

I think that is a good question, not a stupid one.
I use wire cutters to cut the plastic to the shapes that I want.

Thanks. I'm redoing a diorama based on the invasion of Poland. I had a church on the side and am trying to add stained glass windows. Again, Great job!

Awww I thought this would be a huge sprawling thing, like the Barricady tractor factory.  Just kidding, very high end work beutiful figures.  Have you tried a led or a germ of wheat bulb in the oil drum smudges?, it might really set it off. I would imagine you have seen the film "Leningrad" some chilling scenes of close quarters combat, in a derilect factory, one unfortunate soldier messes himself in fear, "Ich s@#$&se mein hosen" is all he can say.  Your piece envokes a dark and grim scene, albeit a liesure moment. Very very nice.

Thanks rabbitteatsnake for your compliments.
I never heard of the smudge techniques before.
