There was a query in another thread about where to find references for such aircraft. I didn't want to take that thread off on a tangent, and felt the question was good for its own thread.
Anyway, Paul Matt drawings were always a neat source, and two volumes of Matt's work are still available from the publisher of Model Airplane News. Each issue of the later has an ad for their pubs, including the two Matt volumes. There was another Matt volume by another publisher in the not too distant path that might still be available.
Pics are much easier. I have yet to search Google pics for an aircraft subject without finding at least a few pics.
Used copies of Matt books and Wylam drawings are sometimes available from online used book stores, though these generally are pricey.
