Cute little fella.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Looks great!  I built one about five years ago and thought it was one of WB's best kits.  Nothing wrong with WB kits for experienced builders.  Glad they are back in business- hope they do some new subjects, not just re-release the old ones.

In continuing my obsession with the Golden Age of Aviation, I just couldn't resist trying my hand at the Ford Flivver. This was Henry Ford's aviation version of his Model T. A fascinating fact I discovered in my research is that aside from Ford's test pilot, Henry Ford only allowed Charles Lindbergh to fly it. Williams Bros. is the only game in town and it was an enjoyable easy build. All the parts are on one sprue and the decals settled right down with no fight. Rigging is even included. I made my own gauges, dropped the elevators, split the ailerons and added control horns. Smoke colored pastels rounded out some light weathering around the engine. The propeller was done in oil paints. The body was painted with Testors Buffering Aluminum and Blue Angels Blue, from rattle cans. This was a great match based on color photos of the preserved Flivver in the Ford Museum. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed building this historically important bird. Thanks Steve
