Interesting, very close to HO Scale. 1/90 would be the perfect scale for a near-background aircraft on a model railroad.

I didn't know about Santa Fe Skyway. BTW there's a D.C.-4 sort of Super Chief scheme by Vintage available as well...

i just don't have a place to put that model.

The DC-3 came out great!  A little tender loving care and this simple model can be turned into a work of art.

I'll have to watch for it at shows and auctions.  Never built that kit. I value DC-3 kits that are not C-47s with airline decals.

Yes, that is the box it came in.  I got it at a vendor at a model show.  I wanted to use it to test the Archer rivet decals.

 I think that the kit is the old one , re-done that Monogram released years ago .Nice kit , lotsa rivets , But a nice plane . That and their C-47 " Goony Bird " T.B.

I didn't even know Revell made a 1:90 scale DC-3. Is that a new kit, or a really old one?

Beautiful work Banshee  That's a nice old kit. Today I saw a DC3 with turboprops on a video. What a great modification to what is still a GREAT aircraft.

Nice finish.  I would like the photos more if there were shot at a longer focal length, they do not showcase the good shape of that model as well as they might.

Really good job, she looks great! I remember riding in one of these from Parsons Kansas to Kansas City many years ago. I was third window back on the right watching the engine as rivets spun and oil came out of most openings. Quite the shaker as I remember, at least compared to today's jets!
