Wow, amazing job! I love how the leading edge looks, it's very shiny!

Real G

Sweetness.  The Jumbo is my all-time favorite airliner!

Mine, too, since the PanAm dash-100 days!

This is an absolute jewel. Really love those sunny Iberian colors!

Exceptional work. YesBeerYesBeer

Sweetness.  The Jumbo is my all-time favorite airliner!  It's great to see a different livery as well.

Oh wow that is nice.  I've got the zvezda kit in the stash.  It's a big model for sure.  Really nice work.

Thanks,

John

Very nice build Jon

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Boeing 747-400 Iberia Finished
Posted by JustPlaneJon on Friday, April 9, 2021 10:02 AM

Here is my B747-400 all finished. It was a great build and provided lots of opportunity to work on my modeling skill set: finding ways to strenthen the structure, removing and rescribing panel lines, painting more details in engine intakes, mixing paints and masking curves to paint the stripes, wet sanding and polishing, and weathering. Lots of work, but also lots of fun. Hope you all enjoy.

The kit is Revell 1:144. Paints used were Tamiya LP lacquers and spray lacquers, Tamiya acrylics, and AK Xtreme Metals. Decals came from V1 decals, Flying Colors Decals, and Authentic Airliners.
