He's of the Florian Geyer div. I don't know much about them, anyone know anything more than they were mounted?
Lets get started! I for the life of me cannot find the right leg on this sucker and his pointing right arm was a bit too straight and unnatural for me, as was his head, so... here we go:
Its not glued, so I can putty it up. I was just done for the day and put him on his "high horse"
Display side (a.k.a. good side )
Trumpeter modern US Marine vs. DML German troop, didn't quite work, but I think it will turn out fine?? with some love and epoxy putty, plus one of my spare knee boots. There's some styrene in there to help close the gap.
"New" arm/"new" head more of a 40% than a full 180% point, and the head is at 2 o'clock instead of 12, I just shaved his neck down.
His arms a little big, but that was the old Dragon mold so I matched it as well as i could.
Top view:
And of coarse, his trusty equipment (all DML).
Not too bad of a first attempt, if I say so myself.
Any suggestions, greatly appreciated!
