I did the Warriors figure last year. I traded the Bren gun for a FM 24/29 and gave him a beard.

I think Warriors did some Legionaire figures awhile back. And of course there are always Hornet head sets with their various types of headgear.

Good point with the Heller sets. Painted a TSSD US infantryman up as a FFL paratrooper a few years back (US jungle jacket, British pants) but couldn't get the camo right.

I believe there was a company a few years back that had resin figures kitted out in bush hats, but I cannot remember who it was.

There are a few out there from various makers in resin. You can also modify some older Heller/Testors figures with new heads. They are in French uniforms and have French weapons as well as the US types. The main thing is they need new heads, and perhaps hands...

Thanks! Very interesting about the cat whiskers!

Always been interested in the First Indochina War - realy wish there were more figures for the conflict.

It's great to see first Indochina war stuff. It's an interesting subject matter. Good job!

Cat whiskers cut to the proper length make perfect 1/35 cigarettes.I'm just putting that out there.

All he needs is a cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth... Wink
