Zero, the Model Master color you refer to is, indeed, field gray and it is a 'greenish-gray.'
When painting 1/35 scale figures you should lighten whatever color you use with white to scale it down.
I don't remember right off the top of my head what the proper mixing proportions are, but I'm sure there's someone reading this thread that can chime in with those.

Buenas suerte!

Painting a WWII German figure... (help needed)

Recently I've purchased the Zvezda 1/35 Pz.Kpfw. I ausf. B, It comes with one figure, it is a man with an overcoat... somebody told me that I must paint the overcoat Field Gray... well, Model Master makes a Geman Uniform Feld Grau... is it the right color?... another person told me that the required color is a greenish gray... another thing: the figure's pants and shoes must be painted black, but I think it will look ugly when painted, perhaps I can paint the shoes with a different color or add some white to the black for painting the shoes... I don't know... Suggestions?... Thanks in advance.
