Hi again guys, and thank you all for the very kind comments, You have certainly given me the enthusiasm to press on with two others I have started. Having spent so long working at close quarters with those I pictured I find it very difficult to look at them objectively myself. (Quite regularly I decide to work on a figure, examine it whilst smoking and drinking tea for an hour and put it all away again, if i'm lucky I maybe paint a small part).
Blakjak you could very well be right about the horses eyes, i'm no expert either and I'm pretty sure that very little white generally shows under normal circumstances. My aim was to give the horse a startled look, as it has been suddenly pulled up with its head pulled back to the left whilst it tries to keep looking where it's going (if all that makes sense).
If anyone can guide me on this, it would be appreciated so i can make any necessary adjustments. I tried googling for scared horses with no luck so my next step would have to be field research, which I feel could lead to trouble 'Man Arrested Chasing Horses With An Air Horn'
Again, thank you all for your encouragement.
