From everything that I've read and heard from ETO veterans, the Germans coveted the American cigarettes since the quality of the American tobacco was much better than the German/European stuff.  So packs of Camels and especially Lucky Strikes were some of the first items taken from American POWs and dead.  So it wouldn't be out of place to have German soldiers smoking American cigarettes.

Great idea! I think painting it white and using a coffe straw or smaller diameter, dipped in red paint will make a pretty good lucky strick pack.  A lot easier than a red eagle and shield!

Thanks for your help.

Great find! Thanks. I don't think the figures have that shape of a box, but maybe I can work something out!

THanks again,

Google images are your friend;

I'm sure there were plenty of others as well. Have a spin on Google Images and see what you find.

I'm doing the 1/35 german soldiers at rest figures. I know that US GI's smoked Camel and Lucky Strikes. What did the German soldiers smoke and what did the packs look like?

Thanks,
