The Tamiya kits were discontinued about two years ago - if you can find them, grab them.

These are easily available on the interent from a variety of place, and pretty inexpensive too.

Just google them, I bought them for $8 and up each a few month ago, the bigger diarama kits.

Revell is bringing back the old Aurora 70s vintage dinosaur kits. Several have been reissued recently.

I'm pretty sure there are a shelf full of them up in my local hobby shop? I think they're the Tamiya ones? I'm sure they're available elsewhere too...there's also a slew of them for sale on ebay.

Tamiya has some pretty decent kits in 1/35 scale (so you can pose them with your armor a la Star Spangled War Stories of the 50's and 60's.) Mega Hobiies, an advertiser here, usually has these.

Click on their banner and type "dinosaur" in the search box then goto the second page.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Dinosaur kits?

Hi gang!

Over the weekend my wife and I took our four year old girl to the "Walking With Dinosaurs" show.  It was awesome!  It also reminded me just how much I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid.  After we got home my daughter and I immediately rushed to the basement where I "excavated" my old dinosaur figures.  I gave them to my daughter and now they're her favorites.  Bearing all that in mind, does anyone know of any new/good dino kits that are available?  Who are the manufacturers?  I found some old ones on the internet but they sure do show their age (think early 1970s).

Thank you for your advice.

Eric
