Very nice!  Love those macro settings for setting off such a great figure.

Thanks guys! This is taken my new Canon A720 IS. It has more features than I know what to do with; 8.0 meg, optical image stabilization, face recognition technology, panoramic imaging stitching, 21 different shooting modes, 6x optical and 4x digital zoom....all for $200! This thing rocks!

The figure is painted with Polly Scale and MM acrylics, with the help of some Golden Colors Acrylic Retarder, an 18/0 brush and high power magnification!

Looks like the macro setting on your new cam will serve you well.  What cam did you get?

Thanks Philo426. He is in 1/35th, one of Dragon's figures, but I don't remember which set at the moment. He is dressed in a U-Boat leather jacket and Italian camo pants.

Just getting around to playing with my new camera. The macro capabilities astound me!

Here is a SS panzer officer from one of my dioramas;

Hand held under my desk lamp, doesn't look too shabby, IMHO.
