If anyone's interested in plastic kits of the "unseen" BT mechs in a size closer to mini use, the 1:200 scale Macross line was made by Nichimo. This covers the old Wasp, Stinger, Phoenix Hawk, Warhammer, Spartan, Rifleman, Crusader, and Marauder designs. Many of these were also repackaged and sold by Testors in their "R.O.B.O.T." series of kits. The old Locust is available in a small-scale kit from the series Crusher Joe ( I forget the manufacturer and scale given ). The 1:144 scale Dougram series is bigger than the Nichimos but may be useful if you can find them and cover the Battlemaster, Wolverine, Shadow Hawk, Thunderbolt, and Griffin designs from BT.
No, I didn't get my first BT box set back in 1985 or anything
It's a shame that Harmony Gold pooched things by selling rights to FASA when they weren't in any position to rightfully do so. At least it helped with FASA's art; no more "tracing" the 2 dozen or so pics they had access to from Tatsunoko.
