Hi philly. I'm not sure what you mean. Where did you put the decal bonder, and to what purpose?
Normally, I soak the decal in warm water just long enough to get it to separate from the carrier paper. I put down some decal setting solution in the appropriate place, then fix the decal over that, pressing it down w/ a damp q-tip to remove excess moisture. If the surface is very uneven, I put some decal solvent on top, to help it snug down. Does that help?
For old Star Wars markings, I just mask the model and airbrush the correct colors on. Usually looks better than the decals. I don't know your circumstances, however. Do you own an airbrush?
