the mighty bolol! what colour should they be?
uh, should be yellow, but there's no rule that say you have to do yours that way.
My Photo Album
you will see above that I had to scratch build this shoulder piece as the orginal was missing from the kit. i made it, in a rush, from a tiny plastic paint pot and some scraps of plastic. barely shows up in reality.
here are some better photos sprue
thanks sprue. i had this chat sitting about for ages then i was off work with a stinking cold and thought, the time is now.... so, thabkfully he'd been started with really bad glue which just peeled off easily. i put him together and handpainted him with water thinned tamiya gold acrylic. after a few coats i ran thin black into the joints and lines etc and dry brushed some silver all over. i also added pathes of clear gloss here and there and also some clear yellow and orange. i added a few oil runs in the knee joints as i wanted him to be a bit like we find him at the start of rotj ie a bit battered. that's about it really, will post more photos soon.
lol! what colour should they be? i got a bit too busy with the tamiya clear red. thanks for comments. he will photograph better in daylight.
the metallic finish is great, but the red eyes make him an evil twin.
yeah, I'd like to see more photos of this. And describe your awesome metallic finish technique
