I know it's late ;

 Don't care . This is the best try I have seen to create a truly unique graveside service vehicle that can do it all ! This also surmises the comment WEIRD ! ! T.B.

Hi Robert, Thanks for the compliments. Great score on that 1/1 ride man!

Is the Ecto-1A kit directly convertable to a hearse or is there some mods needed? I heard something about the roof being an ambulance which is different than a hearse or something like that. Anyway post the Blog here on FSM. You'll get a lot of interest.

Gamera

Someone should try a Halloween horror themed GB. I'd consider it this year if I didn't have so much stuff on the plate already.

A Macabre/Horror theme GB, yes, I'd be interested for sure.

SprueOne - Compliments to the chef on this one! It looks fantastic! I'm currently working on/off on converting the Ecto-1A into a hearse/ambulance vehicle. My wife and I are proud owners of a 1966 Oldsmobile 98 black hearse with two-tone gray brocade interior that we use for our "special" nights out on the town. Once again, Great Job!!!

Thanks for looking in and your compliment.

I think this years' Halloween build will be a scratch build of a casket in 1/25-1/24 scale

and I better get started Indifferent

Thanks OctaneOrange. This was super fun.

Plating over the rear wheel opening was just easier and quicker. And this action stayed with my rule of using only what is available in the two kits.

The only exception and material which broke this rule was the cables installed to simulate the articulation of the front shovel and boom. This was fishing line

i hope you had fun building this, it sure looks like it was. so this vehicle digs  your grave, then dumps you in it? Is there a reason  you plated over the rear wheel arch rather than filling it in?

nice work. good job of creating and executing (grone) . the job is "dead "on and has more than a ghost of a chance of  becoming a classic.

Sure came out looking weird and possible, in some part of the world.
