'You came here in that? You're braver than I thought!'

Great job there guys! Again I love all the interior detail, I sat and stared at the photos for a good bit picking it all out. Great job painting her too. Hope you're putting her somewhere people can see all the detail.

Lol!  Thank you Gamera!  Yes, Ezra will Definately have the Falcon on display.

Here is the Millennium Falcon being weathered and having the first coat sprayed.  I will then hand paint certain panels and then add some Tamiya Weatherine Master and seal everything with Model Master Acrylic 4636/Flat Clear.

Outstanding job there Toshi and Ezra! Keep it up!

I keep wondering about Revells Star Wars stuff but it is the scale of the kits and size that confuse the hell out of me!!

Thank you snapdragon!  Lol, yes I completely agree with your comment regarding Revel‘s scale issues.

It is looking very good. This was an interesting kit when it was released many years ago.

For a companion piece, if you have a Hobby Lobby nearby, they sell the 1/72 scale Bandai Star Wars kits like the original X-Wing, Poe's Boosted X-Wing and the standard Force Awakens X-Wing as well as several TIE fighters.

These are some of the finest Star Wars kits I have ever built. Their inventory varies and there are also smaller scale vehicles like 1/144 and 1/350 which would be too small.

Those kits are designed to not really require paint, like the TIE fighter panels are separately molded in a darker color.

They are quite reasonably priced if you use the 40% off coupon found online on in the Sunday paper.

I have an old 1984 issue of the Return of the Jedi one. You build makes me want to dig that one out and glue the loose pieces back onto it and paint it right.

Back then, the standard was to paint it grey or silver and lightly coat it with flat white to give it a realistic surface. Which is how I painted it.

Thank you sir, Your support, read, and, reply is greatly appreciate.  Ezra and I are having so much fun!

Here is the cut-away Millenium Falcon with the top area painted red as an outline to enhance the cut-away.  I’ve seen this technique dome with scratch built cut-away’s.  An example would be like a old school Monogram B-24 Liberator or a B-17 Flying Fortress 1/48.  Thank you fellow forum members for your support.
